"Dingle" for Blennerville

Simon Starr of Chester Model Railway Club has some very interesting news about the Club's rather famous and very excellent model of Dingle Station:

"'Dingle' will no longer be available for shows as it is being taken to its (probable) final resting place next week. After much negotiation it is to reside in what was the restaurant area of the Blennerville Windmill complex just outside Tralee along with another model railway. It will, alongside memorabilia, pictures and video of the line, be part of an interpretative centre for the line based there. The plan is well in hand for the restoration of services on the railway line and a whole package deal which includes a ride, a visit to the new water-park and entry to the Windmill. This seems a wholly appropriate and worthwhile venture and we at Chester Club have donated the layout on permanent loan to the project."

Thanks to Simon for emailing this news to us.
